Cookie statement

This page says exactly what we store on your device, why, and for how long. No dark patterns, no pre-ticked boxes.

The short version: right now this website sets no tracking cookies at all. We store two small values on your device so the site can work — your language and your cookie choice — and nothing else runs unless you switch it on. We do not use Google Analytics, advertising pixels, or social media trackers on this site today.

What is actually stored

Strictly speaking these are stored in your browser's local storage rather than as cookies, but the rules — and this page — treat them the same way.

If you decline the Preferences category, your language is still detected from your browser and location each visit — we simply do not remember your manual choice between visits.

The categories

Strictly necessary — the site cannot work without them: your cookie choice, your basket during checkout, and the security of the payment step. These do not require consent and cannot be switched off.
Preferences — remembers choices you made, such as your language.
Analytics — anonymous statistics about which pages get read. Not currently in use. Reserved so that if we ever add it, it is already gated behind your consent rather than bolted on afterwards.
Marketing — measuring whether an advert led to a visit. Not currently in use. Same reasoning.

Third parties

We deliberately keep these to a minimum, because every third party on a page is another company receiving your IP address.

Fonts are self-hosted. We serve our typefaces from our own server rather than from Google Fonts, so loading this page sends nothing to Google.
Payments. If you place an order, the payment step is handled by our payment provider on their own page. Card details never reach e-flo. Their own privacy terms apply at that point.
VAT validation. If you enter a VAT number at checkout, we check it against the European Commission's VIES service, which is a legal requirement for a reverse-charge invoice.

Changing your mind

You can withdraw or change your consent at any time — it is as easy to withdraw as it was to give.

You can also clear site data in your browser at any time, which removes both values above.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may request access to, correction of, or erasure of the personal data we hold about you, and you may object to processing or ask for it to be restricted. Write to privacy@e-flo.eu and we will respond within one month. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority — in the Netherlands that is the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.
